Waterford Crystal "Kilree High" Cross 9"
Found in the middle of a cattle grazing field in Ireland, the Kilree High Cross is believed to be from the 9th century. The original sandstone cross stands 2.75 meters high and is mostly covered with geometrical motifs. On the face is probably a representation of the Adoration of the Magi. The shape and cutting pattern of this 33% lead crystal standing cross, in part, replicates the shape of the High Cross with motifs represented by starburst and karo cutting patterns. 9" tall. Made in Ireland.
